In Video: Meet the ECCT Cancer Patients

Earlier in 2012, we launched our first campaign: “Sponsor a Cancer Patient”, which will see us seeking to assist five marginalized cancer patients and their families, who are struggling to make ends meet. From 2013, we will be assisting them with monthly medical costs, school fees for one child per family and nutrition assistance. In October 2012, Probrands Foods Zimbabwe became our first official sponsor and has been providing monthly food hampers to the patients and their families.

On 25 October 2012, the official launch of the ECCT happened in an event in Harare, Zimbabwe and the guests who attended were able to meet the patients who we are assisting. The ECCT website will be relaunched in the upcoming weeks and will focus on the patients and their stories.

Before we launch the updated website, we would like to introduce our patients to you in a video in which they tell their stories. Thank you to all the hundreds of people who have already watched this video. Our hope and faith is in getting assistance for our patients for 2013. Details of how you can assist will be on our relaunched website. You can also click here if you would like to donate now, from wherever you are in the world.

For now…meet the five patients we are assisting. We have placed their images below, followed by a video.
