You may remember our post where we told you about Melbourne based Olivia running in the Age Run Melbourne 2015 to support the Elizabeth Chanakira Cancer Trust (ECCT) patients and their families. You can read more about her personal story and connection to cancer by clicking here now.
Well…Olivia and ECCT Founder Teurai completed the 10km run today! Well done to them. Olivia lost her dad to cancer 10 years ago and dedicated each kilometre to her dad. Teurai lost her mother Elizabeth to cancer in 2010 and dedicated this run not only to her mum, but to marginalised cancer patients in Zimbabwe. There are so many cancer patients in Zimbabwe and families negatively affected by high medical costs associated with cancer.
The ECCT currently supports 4 marginalised cancer patients and their families. Thank you to those who sponsored and donated to Olivia and Teurai. They fundraised a total of $145 and we would like to thank all the donors who gave to this cause. Please see some images from the run below…along with images of the people you are helping to support in Zimbabwe.

We are also happy to be having a successful time with the Global FitChicks #ecctfitchallenge. To find out more about the #ecctfitchallenge where ladies worldwide are getting fit by challenging each other to certain exercises. So far $200 has been raised. Thank you to all those who have taken part.
