ECCT Run for Cancer: Brenda Joins the Global Community!

With cancer being the leading cause of death in Zimbabwe – every little counts! The Elizabeth Chanakira Cancer Trust (‘ECCT’) was founded in 2011 to support marginalised cancer patients and their families with medical costs; school fees/other school needs for one child per family; food hampers and any other necessities required by a family affected by cancer.

In saying that, Australia based Brenda is joining Founder Teurai in running 10km in the Hume Bank City2City 10km run on Sunday 18 February 2018. Brenda is asking her support network to be sponsored and fundraise for ECCT to buy stoves; beds and food hampers for the families it supports in Harare and Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. She will be running from the city of Albury to the city of Wodonga, in Australia.

The following are the individuals the ECCT supports. You can read more of their stories on the ECCT website by clicking here now.
